What is the difference between high-frequency transformers and low-frequency transformers

1. High frequency transformers and low frequency transformers are different in frequency at high and low frequencies.

2. The cores used in the two types of transformers are different.

3. low frequency transformers generally use silicon steel sheets of high permeability.

4. High frequency transformers use high frequency ferrite cores.

5. The number of coils in high frequency transformers and low frequency transformers is different.

The same inductance, high-frequency transformers with the rise in frequency inductance slowly increase, in order to comply with the high-frequency transmission channel transport, the transformer must be less number of turns to comply with the frequency, or even wound into a hollow coil. Microwave transmission, some winding into 3/4 turn or 1/2 turn, etc..

Ordinary transformers, because they are industrial frequency, must rely on the magnetic flux occurring in the core for voltage transformation, because the flux cannot be overfilled and must be wound as a coil per volt/turn in order to make it in the best state, while high frequency transformers are inducted into the secondary with their radiation capability.

High frequency transformer: 1, high frequency transformer: working frequency more than medium frequency (10kHz) power transformer. 2, high-frequency transformer: mainly used in high-frequency switching power supply for high-frequency switching power transformer, but also for high-frequency inverter power supply and high-frequency inverter welding machine for high-frequency inverter power transformer. 3, high-frequency transformers are used with high-frequency ferrite core high-frequency transformers and low-frequency voltage pictures.
Low frequency transformers: 1, ordinary transformers are used to change the voltage (current, impedance), is the transmission of electrical energy, it is composed of a primary coil, one to several secondary coils and iron core (high frequency, commonly used hollow coil). The same inductance, with the rise in frequency inductance gradually increased, so in order to adapt to the transmission of high-frequency signals, the transformer must be less number of turns to adapt to the frequency, or even winding into a hollow coil, microwave transmission some winding into 3/4 or 1/2 turn, etc.. 2, low frequency transformers: mainly used for low frequency switching power transformers, audio transformers, home appliance speaker equipment, security monitoring equipment, broadcasting systems, solar wind energy. 3, low frequency transformers are generally used with high permeability silicon steel sheet.
